Please join us in praying for the following:
Pray for all the practical arrangements at the school - accomodation, meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor stages, 24-7 Prayer Room etc. Also pray for the water supply to be sufficient, and for the electricity supply. Pray for all the school staff - particularly A.Prawit, the headteacher, A.Kajorn, the school director, A.Sompong and the hostel parents.
Pray for those responsible for organising the catering for the Camp - cooking for 600 people is a big job! Pray that we would be able to source the food locally where possible, and for the local churches as they generously help donating rice. Pray for those in charge of the Camp catering, and for the hostel parents at Sahamit School.
We are expecting at least 25 foreign volunteers at the Camp - pray for their safe travel, and for them to adjust quickly to the accomodation and food etc. Pray for them to have a significant impact on the young people they spend time with, even though their is a language barrier. Also pray for the Karen staff, especially those responsible for leading small group devotions and bible study times.
Because of the outdoor stage being exposed to the elements, we would like you to pray that it does not rain during the Camp - as this would cause considerable extra work. Please pray for all those attending the Camp - being the hot season, April can be uncomfortably hot and dusty. Pray that we would be able to keep everyone hydrated and in good health throughout the Camp.
The whole purpose of the Camp is to see young people deciding to 'Choose Life!' Pray that many of the campers would decide to follow Jesus for the first time. Pray that many others decide to make a fresh commitment to Christ. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be working powerfully in all the preaching, teaching, small groups and in every activity we have planned. Pray for those currently preparing to teach and preach.
